CRC intercedes for general elections

As the date for the October 23 general elections fast approaches, it is important to seek the wisdom of God to guide everyone as they exercise their solemn duty to vote.

To this end, Christian Revival Church (CRC) delivered election prayers at the National Stadium on Wednesday.

In attendance were: The Vice President, Mr Slumber Tsogwane, some cabinet ministers and other political leaders.

Expressing appreciation for the church’s efforts, Mr Tsogwane said it was important for political leaders to attend such gatherings as they did not always have the opportunity to worship at their own churches.

He said this was the moment requiring politicians to draw close to God and revive their spirituality.

Mr Tsogwane said the CRC event was timely, to pray for peaceful elections, as well as stability and tranquility in Botswana.

Mr Tsogwane cautioned Batswana against taking the peace that this country enjoyed for granted.

He said Botswana was not only facing elections time, but was also experiencing a severe drought and which needed God’s intervention.

In his sermon, CRC international visionary Pastor At Boshoff prayed for peaceful, fair, free and stable elections as well as for God to put incorruptible and righteous leaders in power to serve the people of Botswana and make this nation greater.

He called for righteousness as it exults nations and prayed for good health for the people of Botswana.

Pastor Boshoff asked God to use Botswana to continue being an example to other nations.

CRC is a global church founded by Pastor Boshoff in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 1994.ENDS
